ChimneyTEK is a premier chimney company that serves the Anne Arundel, Howard, Baltimore County area. We have been servicing homes in the community since 1994 and are family owned and operated. ChimneyTEK is looking to add a Technician, and Office Administrator to our team

Technician

  • Assist the technician and provide service to the customer
  • Must have Great attitude, honesty, integrity, and reliable
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, works well with teammates, good oral and written communication, customer oriented, sales experience, self motivated., safety oriented
  • Daily job duties, Keep vehicle organized , assist Technician with inspections, service calls, fill out daily reports, selling, repairs, climbing ladders involved, working on roofs
  • Must be able to lift over 100lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to work outside in inclement weather, must work safely at significant heights. Must be able to drive a company registered and insured vehicle. Must have clear vision and be able to lift, twist and bend. Contingent on back ground check, intitial and  ongoing drug testing. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Required experience:

  • MUST have previous experience in home service business. Masonry or carpentry skills a plus.: 1 year

 

Office Administrator 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Office administrator duties will include, but are not limited to

  • Answer phones/emails
  • Book/ SELL appointments
  • Respond to customer/vendor inquiries
  • Perform QuickBooks Operations: bookkeeping, data entry, generate reports, and other tasks
  • Compile Invoices
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy office files
  • Prepare Payroll
  • Be point of contact for multiple off site teams
  • Open, sort, and distribute correspondence
  • Create and maintain customer/manager schedules
  • Assist in resolving administrative problems
  • Solve customer inquiries

  REQUIREMENTS

  • The Office Administrator role requires strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
  • Administrative experience / Telephone sales
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experienced / Proficient with QuickBooks
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally
  • Extremely organized
  • Can handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Required to work some Saturdays 8-12
